The Stretchy Wrap Deluxe (burðarsjal) from ByKay is an ergonomic wrap that can be used for your baby until 18 kilos (app. 3 year old). It is also a bit wider (70cm) than most stretchy wraps to make sure the wrap will also fit older children. This means that once you get the hang of wrapping this lovely wrap, you can keep doing this for about three years!

Compared to a woven wrap, a stretchy wrap:

• might feel more comfortable to wear because it stretches with you and your baby’s movements
• will be a bit warmer for your baby as there are more layers going over the body
• can be more difficult to keep it tight, because it is stretchy 🙂
• can be used for front and hip carry
