What’s more fun than playing in puddles? The barefoot rubber boots, or wellies, from Koel, are great for kids who want to go out into the rain or walk through wet grass – and with woollen socks, they’re perfect for snow. These rubber boots support the child’s gait, with a flat sole and enough space for the toes to move, and it’s easy for children to take them off and put them on by themselves.

  • 100 % Rubber
  • Pull-on
  • Textile Insole
  • Textile Lining
  • Rubber Anti-slip Sole 3mm
  • Reflective square on the back of the leg for extra visibility

Be careful not to put the boots too close to radiators, as this may damage the materials and reduce the water-proofing, similar to your other rain gear. Also keep in mind that wellies are meant for rain and puddles, so if they are used on a hlaupahjól,  as a brake when on the swing, or if they are a bit too big, they wear out more quickly.

Koel values quality, fitting, innovation, design, and sustainability. They develop, design, and produce their shoes in Portugal with extensive experience in developing lasting soles, the newest insights in sustainable materials, and the best fitting shoes!

To measure the foot, you need an A4 paper and a pencil.
  1. Place the A4 paper next to a wall or vertical surface.
  2. Put the foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall, and stand on it.
  3. Now draw a line or point at the top of the longest toe, and where the heel is.
  4. Remove the foot from the paper.
  5. Measure the distance between the two points in a straight line.
  6. Check which size matches the length of the foot (heel to toe)

If in doubt, you can also look at the foot imprint on soles from shoes you already own.
  1. Take out the sole from a shoe you are using
  2. Measure from the edge of the heel end to where the imprint ends.
This should be the same length as you would get with the method described above. When still in doubt; it is better to go for the bigger size, as feet will grow, and socks can add a few millimeters.
